  Telcom are an alternative Internet Service provider who own their fibre infrastructure in the ground rather than exclusively relying on 3rd party tails. We have a full ISP technology stack that we deliver over our own network. Any fibre we deliver is 10Gb capable, and we provide full end to end management including LAN and WiFi solutions. This gives us full control over the delivery, support and reliability of our services.   In this role I was employed as a firefighter for the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service. I initially had to complete a vigorous 16 week training course, which upon completion saw me being placed at Stalybridge Community Fire Station. During my time in the roll I attended numerous emergency incidents, Including building fires, road traffic collisions, water rescues and wild fires etc. In this role I was employed as a firefighter for the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service.   During this time I worked as a Quantity Surveyor for a large main contractor within the water industry. I was responsible for all commercial aspects of a number of contracts, managing these at a regional level and reporting immediately to the Commercial Manager. I was solely responsible for all quantity surveying duties on several design and build contracts ranging from £0.5m to £5m in value. The projects I were involved with comprise of Civil and M&E works with the majority being administered under the NEC3 form of contract adopting Option A or C. I also have some involvement in large Waste to Energy scheme, assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with the commercial control and administration of the project. Show less
