  During this internship, a group of 4 students and I attempted to uncover any physical differences between non-organic and organically grown strawberries. To conduct our research, we utilized a spectrometer to detect variances in each strawberries reflective wavelength. Soon after we organized the collected data in a spreadsheet and used the spectrometer's appropriate computer software to compare any discrepancies. On the final day of the internship, my group and I presented our findings at an open event at Oxnard College. Show less

  As the IOC (Inter-Organizational Council) Representative for the Oxnard College SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) Chapter, I held a communicative responsibility throughout the academic year. Once every two weeks, I would attend a meeting where I would inform the student government of any upcoming club activities and events. In addition, it was also my responsibility to advocate for all requested funds on behalf of the club by breaking down and clarifying proposed budgets.
