  Penetradar is a leading manufacturer and provider of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) systems and services used for nondestructive testing (NDT) of transportation infrastructure (bridges, pavements, tunnels). Penetradar utilizes GPR and Infrared Thermography (IRT) to detect and locate defects in infrastructure providing an assessment on its physical condition.▪ Designed new HRI (high resolution imaging) system from conception to final product. This system provided improved infrastructure condition assessments and was integrated with baseline GPR/IRT services.▪ Created new data analysis and mapping techniques (data modeling/simulation, signal processing) for current GPR/IRT technologies to streamline technical report development. ▪ Worked on multiple research projects to develop new GPR/IRT data analysis techniques.▪ Wrote numerous technical reports and procedures for projects including all data analysis and results/reports.▪ Updated software source code (C++) to be compatible with new GPR system hardware components (GPS).▪ Designed new installation package for distribution of the company’s proprietary software to customers.▪ Performed data analysis of GPR, IRT and HRI data and produced reports which indicated the number of defects in infrastructure as well as the severity and location of the defects.▪ Redesigned analog circuit boards (schematic, layout, ordering, testing, assembly) for new GPR computer system.▪ Coordinated all marketing material and created new graphics/videos/advertisements for promotional use.▪ Planned field job procedures to ensure proper data collection in a safe and efficient manner.▪ Provided direct technical support to customers on troubleshooting radar equipment.
