I worked with Tony on several GE Transportation projects at GE Digital where he was a technical lead. His dedication, enthusiasm and attention to details were contagious. I was particularly impressed on his willingness to take on brand new technologies on a PoC project. The success of the PoC depended heavily on the UI’s ability to impress. Tony was bold enough to take on a front-end technology stack that included WebGL, three.js, and Websocket. The PoC was also the first Spring boot project the team took on. Tony was successful in rallying the team to learn and teach each other all these new technologies. At the end, the customers were totally wowed by the UI and its underlying functionality. The PoC eventually contributed to bringing in an engagement that was worth multiple millions of dollars. It was really fun to work with someone who are willing to take on calculated risk to deliver a successful project.
