  April 2009 ~ Now  Works directly with Wafer Engineering Team to assess and qualify new wafers for future magnetic heads generation.  Follow up and verify new wafer designs and improvement actions with respect to the magnetic heads performance in backend process.(Slider & HGA)  Regular checking of wafer uniformity for feedback and monitoring.  Coordinates regular meetings for continuous Sigma Improvement within the wafer.  Conducts regular FA for abnormality related to backend process.  Plans and schedules sample builds for new wafer evaluations and verification.  Conducts regular meeting with Headway Technologies to discuss and resolve existing wafer issues. April 2008 - Mar 2009 Acting Department Leader for the newly built Prototype Department dedicated to qualify MR Heads for respective HDD customers.  Introduce new methods and process technology to customers to improve the performance of the magnetic heads and meet current technology demands.  Design and facilitate the process flow to meet customer requirements.  Plans and Schedules overall qualification or evaluation to meet timetable required by the customer.  Conducts FA & CA for any abnormality found on running evaluations or qualifications.  Coordinates with customer regarding trials of newly developed process to attain higher performance for MR Head reading and writing.  Transfer new project to MP line after qualification has passed. October 2003 – Mar 2008 As a Senior Process Engineer handling Photolithography and Enhance Bonding Process. Supports the production operation by doing FA for related rejects and come up with a viable solution to reslove the issue so the line can run smoothly. Develops advance processes to simplify and improve any existing shortcomings in the process for a better and more efficient production. Show less
