Inspections were performed to assure work is in compliance with different standards and codes such as the National Electric Code (NEC), SMACNA, ASME, ASTM and the international codes for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire, and Building Codes. Instantaneous Hot Water heaters, New bathrooms, Showers, the facility Kitchen, New risers, brick re-pointing and roofing in a 70 year old building in the lower west side of NYC. Queens Family Courthouse, Jamaica, New York MEP Superintendent/project manager The project value of this extremely high profile, two year, project that consisted of a two building complex was over $100 million. The 300,000 sf. complex contains 25 courtrooms, 13 elevators, 6 escalators, a five story atrium, a landscaped public plaza, a below grade parking garage for Judges and a separate $3.5 million, 85,000 sf parking garage that services the facility. New York City Transit Authority, Brooklyn, New York Project Manager/Electrical Superintendent Initially an inspector, than a Resident Engineer for a station power upgrade, 2.5 year project. A total of 24 stations, $25 million. This included new electrical distribution rooms, Upgrade of all power, lighting, electrical distribution and associated architectural and finish work. Also upgrade automatic fare collection system Metro Card. I performed and supervised quality inspections of field activities. Verified field conditions and coordinated changes with designer engineers. Managed documentation, including project closeout. Coordinated shop and “as-build” drawings.
