PRINCIPLE PROJECT ENGINEER – Engineering and Construction, Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Division (2004 -2008) Engineering, Construction, and Commissioning Manager for a new LNG Receiving and Regasification Terminal near Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. • Direct responsibility for taking the project from late-stage development, to front-end engineering and design (FEED), EPC Contract negotiations and award, construction, commissioning, and start-up to turnover for commercial operation of this USD 1 billion LNG Terminal, the first on the west coast of the Americas. SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER – Engineering and Construction, Power Generation Division (2001-2004) Site Construction Manager for a new gas-fired combined-cycle 550 MW merchant power plant near Bakersfield, California. • Achieved a safe, compliant, on-time and within budget construction, start-up, commissioning, and commercial operation of this USD 300 million two on one gas-fired power plant which included a ten-mile transmission line, and ten-mile water supply pipeline and pump station, and four-mile waste water discharge pipeline and injections wells.
