  During my one year compulsory youth service(NYSC), I served in one of the best hotel in Nigeria(Transcorp Hotels Calabar) as far as hospitality is concerned and in the Human Resource Department.Serving in such department gave me the opportunity to render not just the knowledge acquired in School but my interpersonal skills in order to achieve the goal of the department, organization and ensuring that the employees are happy.I didn't limit myself to just being the HR who prepares payroll, monitor attendance, schedule meetings, sort CV's, facilitate Inductions and employee leave and allowances, I made sure to engage with team members in a way they come to me to talk about the challenges they face in the line of discharging their duties, which I escalate to my Line Manager, then things get solved appropriately and I made sure to maintain confidentiality if need be.I'm the people's person.
