  Going into my fourth year as a student equipment assistant, I organize attire and distribute equipment to athletes and staff while overseeing equipment inventory and distribution. Part of my role is to supervise return, storage, and maintenance of yearly issued athletic equipment assigned to intercollegiate sports. I assist with 15 different team practice, setups, takedowns, laundry services, equipment receiving, and inventory. I also set-up and managed basketball games, assist in day-to-day operations and activities of sports. I love traveling to home and away football games and also preparing and working all home basketball programs.

  At training camp, preseason and the regular season I had the privilege of working with the defensive line and special teams. During camp I cleaned and maintained helmets and shoulder pads according to safety regulations, labeled, issued, and received apparel and equipment while also maintaining issuance records of athletes, coaches and staff, and worked game days.   As a training camp intern I worked with position coaches during practice and assisted in locker room maintenance and preseason gameday set-up. For game day I packed player travel bags while also customizing each bag to each specific players needs while also packing and unloading the team semi-truck and trunks for home and away games.
