I have worked as an account’s receivable clerk for Greenview Group since mid February 2022. While working for Greenview, my main responsibility has been issuing sales invoices each week. The sales invoices are prepared using the Exchequer accounts package. I have also been responsible for posting the payments against these invoices as they come into the bank. Once the sales invoices have been issued and payments posted, I also assist the accounts payable department with posting purchase invoices onto the system, along with supplier statement reconciliations. While working for Healthy Buildings Ireland my main responsibility, was the maintenance of the purchase ledger. This involved the processing of 1,000+ purchase invoices monthly using the Sage Paperless system. These invoices are then cross checked against the purchase order system and posted to Sage 50, with a cross reference for viewing the invoices on Sage Paperless. I also processed weekly supplier payment runs for invoices which have become due. This means that it was essential that I develop a rapport with suppliers to ensure payments are made on time and in certain cases, gained more favourable credit terms. Preparation of reports for multiple departments throughout the company using Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel. Taking card payments for sales invoices on a weekly bases using the OPAYA payment processing software. Assisting the credit controller with cash collection towards the end of each month Show less

While working for the Newry Council, I was responsible for monthly and weekly payroll for 450+ employees across 3 different departments within the council, using CINTRA IQ along with Excel. Distribution of the pay cheques and also processing payment of the wages. I was also responsible for moving the old employee filing system to a paperless filing system using my experience gained from previous roles. This involved scanning and destroying the old documents, then cataloguing them on the computer. This was a 9-month contract for maternity cover which wasn’t renewed once it came to an end. Show less

This was a high-pressure busy work environment, in which I was working with large clients producing television shows. It was critical that these clients received their allocated funds promptly as the shows were recorded on strict schedules. This was a 3-month contract for maternity cover. Although I was offered a different role within the accounting department at the end of this contract, I had to move back home to Newry for family reason's Show less
