  From working directly under the project engineer, I gained valuable management experience within the Heavy Civil industry. Not only did I gain valuable experience, but I was responsible for subcontractor coordination, tracking quantities, performing take-offs, ordering materials, preparing notes and pictures for the daily report, understanding plans and specs, and completing weekly jobsite safety inspections.
