As a Project Manager / Estimator it is my responsibility to estimate, manage, plan, and monitor the electrical aspects of construction projects from start to finish. I also act as the primary point of contact for electrical design and am responsible for coordination of the electrical engineering for specific company projects between the company, design consultants, contractors, and the Client(s).

Electrician Foreman

As an Electrician Foreman it was my job to perform supervisory responsibilities for managing all aspects of the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, apparatus, and equipment. It was also my responsibility for planning, scheduling, assigning, participating in, and inspecting the work of my fellow electricians, and trades helpers. Some additional responsibilities included:• Train and instruct subordinates on detailed procedures.• Conduct periodic inspections and gives on-site supervision over hazardous or unusual work assignments; assures availability of equipment, materials, and supplies.• Estimate the time and material costs required for projected jobs; keep cost and job records and submit reports; initiate requisitions for supplies, tools, and equipment.• Enforces safety regulations, rules, and working conditions.

Electrician Apprentice

• Jun 1999 - May 2004

As an Electrician Apprentice I was learning to become a professional, or journeyman/wireman, electrician. This was done through both extensive hands-on training in the installation of electrical systems, and college coursework in electrical theory. I was also trained in electrical code, motor controls, PLC as well an understanding of blueprint reading. With the help of the IBEW and NJATC I graduated a (5) year apprentice program that prepared me to become a proud member of the IBEW Local 701 workforce.

CAD Draftsman

As a CAD Draftsman it was my responsibility to prepare clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detailed drawings from rough or detailed sketches and notes for manufacturing purposes. These tasks were completed according to specified dimensions by Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems. I also used CAD equipment to provide support to Electricians by preparing routine layouts, detailed drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, & diagrams.
