Anthony has been a top contributor and leader over various engagements in our work with the Innovate Ohio Platform. I initially worked with Anthony as part of a large system integration testing effort where he became the expert in the functionality of a complex integration with an enterprise identity system. Two years later, individuals still track Anthony down for his subject matter expertise in this area which is remarkable since this was something he tackled ad hoc in order to get the job done. I’ve witnessed Tony lead as a project manager and scrum master in challenging engagements such as operations incident management improvement project and enterprise data portal project. Anthony has an uncanny way of bringing stakeholders together and transparently tackling issues as they arise. Tony’s ability to act as a change agent can not be overstated. During challenging change efforts, Tony uses his patience and active listening to walk stakeholders through the change — always to a positive outcome. If I was handpicking a team Tony would be at the top of the list due to : (1) his proclivity to make hands-on contributions, (2) his command in leading challenging engagements, and (3) his change practitioner acumen.

Tony has been on my scrum team as a project manager, scrum master, business analyst and Jira configurator. It has been a pleasure to watch his skills grow as he surmounted a staggering variety of challenges to become the multi-faceted team contributor he is today. One of his most helpful contributions involved leading a change adoption for one of our team's project management strategies. A particular stakeholder group was not interested in adopting our proposed change, and in fact resisted this change. So we sent in Tony. His ability to relate to people and explain the potential value of the change eventually (through a lot of persistence) won over this group to such an extent that they are now the strongest proponents of the project management strategy.
