  This was a newly created role to deliver minor projects, assist in the delivery of several major projects and implement the previously unaddressed agenda of Sustainability within the College.Minor projects I developed, administered and delivered are:• Recladding a staff house at the Common Leys Farm Campus• Conversion of a farm food store into a state of the art Canine Hydrotherapy Unit at the Common Leys Farm Campus• Conversion and change of use of the Caretakers House at the Witney Campus to staff offices then teaching space to accommodate pressures caused by a major project• Relocation of a specialist Computer workshop to replace two general classrooms within the Abingdon Campus• Development of a ten-year masterplan for the Common Leys Farm Campus• Design and write a minor works procedure for the commissioning of minor worksMajor projects I have helped to develop, administer, oversee and deliver are:• The complete refurbishment of the main teaching block at the Abingdon Campus• The complete refurbishment of a teaching block at the Witney Campus• Two new build teaching blocks at the Witney Campus• The complete refurbishment of the Engineering and Motor Vehicle block at the Abingdon CampusThis included delivery of BREEAM targets and planning criteria including travel plans and other documentation on all major schemes, cost reports, production of drawings, briefs and procurement.Sustainability measures I have developed, administered and delivered are:• An ISO14001 Certified Environment Management System• An internal departmental purchase order/cost tracking database to track costs and produce live reports• A data collection system and analysis spreadsheet to calculate the organisations Carbon Footprint and an associated Carbon Trust approved Carbon Management Plan• Write a Sustainability Policy, Minor Works Policy and set associated goals and targets.• Implementing and designing the Environment Services external and internal webpages Show less
