I am currently working as a Cost Consultant for Currie & Brown within the M&E team. I work on multiple projects in varying sectors ranging from commercial offices, retail and education to health and data centres. These projects often present specific challenges associated with essential M&E services and maintaining business as usual operations environments.As well as working on multiple projects I have also successfully become a chartered member of the Royal institution of Chartered Surveyors.My daily tasks include the full delivery of Cost Consultant and Contract Administration services for my clients.

Assistant Cost Consultant

I am currently working as an Assistant Cost Consultant for Sweett Group as a member of the M&E department. I work on multiple projects in varying sectors however the majority of my current workload is working as M&E Cost Consultant and Employers Agent for Selfridges & Co on a number of their own in house refurbishment projects and notably the landmark Duke Street Project. I formely worked as a graduate Quantity Surveyor for a Block and Brickwork specialist contractor on a number of high profile projects including the Tottenham Court Road Station Upgrade project and the London Bridge Redevelopment projectMy daily tasks include performing site walks, documenting site progress, measurement of works, assisting in the compilation of monthly valuations, gathering of evidence to substantiate claims, acting as liaison with and participating in Principal Contractor led meetings (Health and Safety, Co-Ordination, Progress, Quality etc.) and office administration amongst other tasks.

Student Quantity Surveyor

I was on Industrial Placement working as a Student Quantity Surveyor on the new build of three medical care facilities (Catheter Lab, Central Disinfection Unit and Intensive Care Unit) for the Blackrock Clinic private hospital.My duties involved assisting in the procurement of sub-contractors including the sending of enquiry documentation and the compilation of cost comparisons for works, the measurement of building works and the analysis of sub-contractor quotes and final accounts amongst other tasks.
