  Being part of the Capability and Acquisition team I have facilitated the provision of technical and project management expertise, to provide the effective and efficient design, construction, replacement and maintenance of the Corporation’s water, wastewater, irrigation and drainage SCADA, controls systems and Electrical infrastructure.Responsibilities:•Provide specialist engineering advice on future requirements of the Corporation’s Control Systems and related Electrical infrastructure.•Provide specialist technical engineering advice on sound engineering practises and skills to ensure established standards are maintained.•Provide advice and hands on maintenance, operations, engineering and IT teams in troubleshooting solutions relating to control systems and electrical infrastructure performance.•Provide specialist advice to internal and external stakeholders during the project including all phases from initiation to completion.•Ensure SCADA, metering and Control Systems related requests and enquiries are addressed in timely manner using LMW ticketing system. •Research, investigate and implement technologies/operational methodology related to SCADA and Control Systems.•Develop and maintain standards, specifications, drawings, P&IDs related to electrical and SCADA infrastructure in accordance with the change management practise.•Managing project scope documents, tender and contract documents as required. Also assist in budget preparations, project estimates and reviewing expenditure.•Assist in developing and maintaining asset management system at corporate level related to SCADA and Electrical infrastructure.•Provide specialist advice and support to the corporation to ensure SCADA and controls systems are performing in the most effective manner with highest level of availability and reliability.
