  While completing my M.A. degree, I was a teaching assistant for two core English courses at McMaster University. My responsibilities were to facilitate weekly online tutorial discussions, read assigned literature, edit student essays, provide academic guidance, encourage critical engagement with reading material and grade papers. It was a position I thrived in. I thoroughly enjoyed helping students improve their writing and appreciation of fictional and non-fictional literature.
