As site guard at a transport depot, I was responsible for vehicle and visitor entry, lock up and unlock of premises, handling of sensitive freight ie. pharmaceuticals, locking and sealing of departing interstate trailers, checking seals and locks of arriving trailers. As an investigator I was responsible for tracking and locating any lost, stolen or misdirected freight in Victoria and Tasmania using multiple sources of information including bar-code scanning systems and CCTV.
