The primary function of the Dean of Curriculum and Staffing (7-12) is to support Senior School teaching staff in the administration of the curriculum. The Dean of Curriculum and Staffing (7-12) manages curriculum documentation and semester reporting, with a strong focus on consistency across the senior years (7-12). In addition, this incumbent also manages Senior School teacher relief.The primary function of the Dean of Studies 10-12 is to advise, guide and counsel students, and their parents, in all matters academic-related to Years 10-12. The role requires the Dean to provide sound and informed academic/course advice and guidance. As the principal academic leader of Years 10-12, the Dean of Studies will respond to all enquiries and issues specifically related to teaching and learning. Responsibilities include OLNA, secondary graduation, the Western Australian Certificate of Education, assessment matters, class placement, course selection and course pathways (ATAR, General and VET).
