I have and continue to work with Sgt Boyd as a colleague in my role as Coordinator of Emergency Management as well as working under him in my role as a telecommunicator of the Countryside Police Department. Sgt. Boyd's ability to relate his real life experiences into dealing with the public, especially his work as the lead Juvenile Officer for the Police department, has resulted in a positive outcome for those he interacts with. Sgt. Boyd was and still is instrumental in provided guidance and training to the staff and residents in the cities implementation of AED's and education of CPR.
