The Accenture Distribution and Marketing (D&M) practice brings together a full offering of services to help clients realise value from enhanced customer relationships and distribution networks. The D&M community sits within our Financial Services Consulting Business, across Capital Markets, Wealth and Asset Management, Banking & Insurance. Since joining the team, I’ve mainly worked on agile transformation programmes focused on digital enhancements in either a Scrum Master or Agile Coach capacity. Example responsibilities include: 1. Programme strategy: - Current state analysis of existing programmes (i.e. 50-90 people). Analyse then recommend and implement initiatives to increase agile adoption effectiveness - Mobilise new agile teams: From location/office set up, optimum room space design, resourcing teams through to access, onboarding and training - Set up PMO functions 2. Agile training, example sessions include: - Training room style sessions covering an intro to agile, user story development, building product backlogs, agile estimation techniques etc. - Training simulations including Lego Scrum simulation, spaghetti tower game and more - Demos to distributed teams 3. In team Scrum Master, responsibilities include: - Run all Scrum events (i.e. daily Scrum, planning, review and retrospective) - Set up physical and virtual (JIRA and Confluence) work spaces - Facilitate workshops - Coach at team and individual level - Conflict resolution - Blocker and impediment remover - Knowledge transfer to upskill team and reduce dependency on a dedicated Scrum Master over time 4. Agile Coaching: - Engage clients and colleagues across levels to help embed agile values and principles - Coach teams on best agile practice approaches - Help teams to understand the value of agile and how to apply it based on their level of agile maturity - Help to build a ‘one team culture’ which drives the best outputs - Help teams to build a fun and engaging team culture Show less
