I have assisted as a technical consultant and expert in legal cases in matters where my experience as a professional mariner, engineer and superyacht manager allow. Integral to my position of responsibility is that I act on behalf of owners, superyacht managers and brokers to determine the condition of superyachts prior to sale or purchase; this role extends to private clients who wish to utilise the enormous experience and integrity of the talented survey team at ABL Yachts and ABL-Group. As an integral member of the superyacht services business development team in South Florida, I'm responsible for raising the level of awareness of ABL Yachts as a whole within the luxury yacht sector of the marine industry which is an integral part of our client base. One of my duties was to ensure that all aspects required in the application and implementation of the code of the International Safety Management of the various flag states under whose remit and governance each vessel operated, was followed and that record keeping and reporting was carried out onboard and ashore as per the requirement of the code.
