I am currently providing program coordination and leadership of a strategic nature with respect to academic and research budget and resources and provide strategic leadership to the Division of Academic Affairs and the College of Natural Resources and Sciences implementing continuous improvement of processes and procedures. This includes design, analysis, planning, decisions and implementation of programmatic and operational initiatives both independently and in consultation with the Dean and the office of the Provost. I advise, recommend, and implement processes and projects in areas of operation, budget, resources, and HR. I engage in lead work required for planning and implementation of day to day or long-term strategic goals. I act as a liaison with a variety of other administrative and support offices on campus by coordinating and researching, processing, recommending, analyzing/evaluating, and reviewing various processes and reporting. Working closely with the Dean of the College of Natural Resources and Sciences, the team of staff, faculty and students of the College, and University at large, I provide analytical and operational support and service for budget, accounting, facilities and safety. This includes the coordination and stewardship of the public resources and activities necessary to serve students, and the goals and values of the University and its auxiliaries, the CSU and the people of the State of California. I acted as an information and resource specialist and facilities liaison to facilitate the needs of the administration and faculty. I lead the development of methods to transition from historical budgeting principles to a data informed resources and activity based system and practice.
