I was100% responsible for holding our plant accountable to our own internal QA systems. I worked closely with supervision and plant management to ensure our associates were following our protocols to ensure we were manufacturing quality cartons for our customers. Through review of data, root cause analysis of field failures, work center auditing, communication (written/verbal) and data review I helped our site move from a bottom quartile to top quartile performer in quality. I am very proud of the level of improvement we achieved in my short period of time at GP Sheboygan.

GMSP was a family-owned business where I had the pleasure of working with my brother in-laws. My area of focus was in operations of the facility. Approximately 100 direct and indirect employees reported directly to me. The daily production of the plant was my responsibility. I also led engineering for on-boarding new products and equipment within the plant. I also took responsibility for all employee interviews, hirings, discipline and annual assessments. I worked closely with engineering, production and customer service to respond to any immediate needs for problem resolution, training, reporting, testing and development. Engineering required me to participate in the develop of the next generation pressure sensor by providing input on opportunities identified from the field and manufacturing/testing of the product. I supported production through continous improvement efforts through a number of different projects, employee training and SOP generation. Customer service required me to provide analysis on any concerns brought forth to our team from our customers. Ultimately, I owned the manufacturing of a specifc family of products offered by our DSES group.
