I had the pleasure of working with Ant during his time as Chief Customer Officer (CCO) at AMP. Ant's customer-centric leadership, energy, strategic thinking and ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation were outstanding. Of note, Ant built and then leveraged advanced data, analytics and AI capabilities to drive deep insights into AMP's customers to ensure they were getting the best possible services to meet their financial goals. Ant built deep relationships with stakeholders that could be leveraged by his teams. As such, Ant improves any team he is part of, a wonderful skill. His ability to develop, communicate and implement marketing and customer strategy was very strong. His leadership and execution focus resulted in Ant delivering both immediate business outcomes and future capability to be leveraged by the organisation. In our time together, Ant was accountable for leading AMP's strategic marketing function, was the CCO and we also sat on the Board of AWM Services Limited together where Ant showed diligence and thoughtfulness in how he governed AWM Services as a Director. I have learnt a huge amount from working with Ant and would highly recommend him as an exceptional senior leader that would benefit any organisation that wants to put the customer at the centre of its strategy.
