Conceived and built picnic: a food+wine boutique from the ground up with my partner in life and business. With a retail wine shop and wine bar, healthy and delicious prepared foods to eat-in or takeaway, as well as custom catering services, picnic was a true joy to create and operate. Opening a new business, creating a brand and building out a shell commercial space was as rewarding as the day-to-day running of a neighborhood food establishment in Seattle.
