  Purpose: Optimising supply chain and inventory management performance using simulation models. Responsibilities include: • Determining the optimal inventory, logistics and supply chain management rules, including order quantities, order frequency, stock levels, and other KPIs. • Presenting our team’s findings to the clients using visual representation. • Testing of inventory management, supply chain, and project management simulation models as well as a mobile application by making sure that the models’ calculations are correct. • Extracting and identifying the impact of different inventory management and supply chain policies from the simulation model outputs. • Comparing the performance of different inventory rules (Min-Max, EOQ, DDMRP, TOC-DBM). Projects I worked on: • Optimising the inventory management policies of 2 high-end fashion brands by showing that they can have higher availability with lower stock levels, increasing the ROI significantly. • Simulating and analysing the complex supply chain of a large tech company with manufacturing plants, DCs and stores across the world with thousands of products. • Identifying the bottleneck and determining the optimal logistics of a railway line to increase the efficiency with the lowest amount of crossings. • Simulating and determining the optimal logistic setup for a large bookfair company. • Determining the impact of unplanned events such as the Seuz Canal blockage on one of the largest online retail shops globally.
