  Study of Power Mix Management (energy management and state estimation) and Micro Grids 0 (RES injection smoothing for micro grids) Application Functions on GE real time platform. Also, developing sophisticated micro-grid control and optimization algorithms:1. Study, Analyze and Perform simulations of existing Micro grid functions in Matlab/Simulink: - PMM (Power Mix Management): microgrid energy management and state estimation.- Micro Grid 0 (MG0): RES injection smoothing for microgrids.2. Propose a platform architecture of these two modules PMM 61131 and MG0 61131 on the virtual IED platform being developed by the Grid Automation Applications team.3. Integrate, test and validate these functions in the virtual IED environment. To include performing hardware in the loop (HIL) using the team’s real-time simulation platform and hardware. Possibly develop a suitable HMI for both PMM and MG0 to illustrate the results obtained during the Real-time execution. 4. Propose improvement and deployment of existing models as part of a Micro Grid Application Function Library.
