  #Job Summary# Responsible for the proper set- up and operation of injection molding machines for production of precision molded plastic parts. Monitors the molding process to ensure product quality. Executes daily production tasks and supervises work in accordance with the production schedule. Creates set-up procedures and process optimization of new and existing plastic injection molds. #Duties and responsibilities # -Head of Production and process leader injection molding (at the start of a project) Define the need in terms of equipment and human resources of a new injection workshop. •Molding Process Improvement, Mold Trials, and Track History, Process Training, Inspection Manuel -Validate the new molds at the mold maker and do the reception at the production site. -Test the first sample parts (for the PPAP file) for the new project ( testing the new mold on the machine. •Install on the machine the optimal safety mold parameters in order to avoid any damage to the molds. •Ensure mold safety in test mode before starting production. •Mold set-ups and tooling changeovers • •Verify correct set-up of molds, presses and auxiliary equipment before machine startup. -Develop molding processes for production in order to have a high performance. • Participate and pass the qualification audit VDA 6.3 of our client DELPHI (95%) • Participate in the IATF 16949 migration -Start SOP with zero claims and scrap rate <2% - 100% customer satisfaction rate, no delivery delay from the start of SOP • Participate and pass the VDA 6.3 qualification audit of our WV client (86%) • Follow the performance indicators of the injection workshop and establish an action plan if the goal is not achieved. • Implements corrective measures in case of production gaps and participates in the development of preventive actions.
