As long as I have known Anoop, that is close to 4 years now, I've found him to be a very straight forward person who spends no time beating around the bush when it comes to getting his point across. I've always found him to be technically sound and someone who backs up all his arguments with facts and valid data when it comes to automotive discussions - Official or non-official. He also comes across as a steadfast and headstrong person who pursues his goal relentlessly untill he has attained them - financial, personal or situational challenges notwithstanding. His colleagues would agree that he shows the same level of commitment, integrity and character in his official assignments also and takes complete ownership in their successful completion. I've worked with Anoop during Hero's LEAP programme, and BS-IV projects. We also became good friends thanks to common interests in automotive engineering. Anoop has a very low tolerance for meaningless discussions, and chooses to spend his time on areas of development, mostly technical. He is a very valuable inclusion in any brainstorming session, since he can come up with the most creative ideas, and quickly bring up the technical constraints too, which means that in a very short span of time (matter of 5-10 minutes), he can come up with a fresh engineering solution to any problem. Within a day, he'll have his design ready. LEAP has gained from that brilliance, many times. He takes it as a personal mission to learn something that he doesn't know or understand that has come up in any discussion, so that he can meaningfully contribute the next time. And he does that very quickly, even overnight, if required. This drive, and very quick grasp, came in handy when he had to design a sub-frame that could accommodate 3 kinds of fuel tanks, for BS-IV projects. The task required that he understand fuel tank design, something that he didn't know about well, and yet, the task was accomplished in less than a week's time. His exceptional riding skills, across various segments of bikes, and many different terrains are only obvious indicators​ of his passion. It's great fun working with Anoop once one appreciates his passion for automotive engineering, and the (almost) eccentric drive that he exhibits.
