I work directly under David Dow as a YWCA McLean County Strive student. In the strive program I am learning everything it takes to lead an organization. This is a very comprehensive cohort that explains everything from creating a spreadsheet to writing a business plan we are learning how to build relationships that strengthen a successful organization with focus on our missions.My work as apprentice with David Dow who has an office in Schooley Mitchell. Schooley Mitchell is America's largest cost reduction consultancy. they help clients save money in Telecom, Utilities, Waste Removal, Merchant Card Services, Small Package Shipping, Warehousing, and eSignature. they’re objective, independent and vendor neutral. Schooley Mitchell recently helped to find YWCA McLean $3000 in Telecom overbilling and another $5500 per year in reduced Telecom costs. Show less

I was put in the position of giving a voice to the voiceless. My daughter Rica Rountree was murdered 1/26/2019 here in McLean County after suffering chronic child abuse. My mission is to advocate for parents while keeping children safe. Many times the children that need saving are not while children that are in homes that would benefit from supportive services are removed. I am working to create a network of services that would strengthen the home empower the parent and keep children in the home. I also am working to make sure that when children are removed they are kept in culturally correct homes and monitored appropriately. J4RJ has already begun in this mission. Show less
