Annika has produced some great animations for the cutscene team. She has a good sense of timing and can produce some great acting from her characters. Over the (several) years that we've worked together, I've been impressed with Annika's technical competence, her pro-active attitude to (artistic and technical) problem-solving and solution-sharing, and her willingness to put in the extra when it's really needed. Annika is a positive asset to any animation team and a pleasure to work with.

      At Travellers Tales I have had various roles as the animation department has grown exponentially (The position of senior and lead animator is treated as interchangeable). (Cinematic animation tasks as above) Create skeletons and skin characters in Maya (if required) Achieve animation of a realistic or stylised nature dependant on the project; demonstrating appropriate weight, timing, and strong poses. Help develop new game mechanics and provide test animations quickly for prototyping. Communicate well with programmers, artists and other team members to ensure the animation creates the right feel and style for game play. Export animations and test them in game. LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES (team up to 10 animators) Provide technical support for aspects of Maya and the game engine pipeline. Provide animation critique and guide team members in their own personal development, as well as define the style and expectations for the game. Have responsibility for organising and managing the team with scheduled tasks. Aid development of animation systems with the core game engine team.
