Involves CT and general x-ray on inpatients, outpatients and emergency patients. Experience in theatre, mobiles, dental and major traumas in ED. Shift work is a big part of working at the Alfred and involves working well within a small team of radiographers in the evening to cover all the imaging required. Then working overnight requires a level of independence and good communication with the radiologist and other medical staff to complete any imaging required overnight. I started work as an intern Radiographer for Alfred Health on June 2017 and was then employed full time as of January 2018 and currently work there. I Completed my CT training in February 2019 (began in November 2018).
