      Ausenco Limited (ASX: AAX) is a provider of engineering and project management services to the global resource industry. Ausenco had experienced considerable growth – the Group comprises five (5) business entities with a staff compliment of 2800 employees globally. Consulting to the General Manager, People & Performance, the role was charged with project managing various HR, change management and workforce planning programs to assist with the acquisition of 4 global entities (Ausenco went from 750 employees to 2800 in a space of 4 years) and the assimilation of these into the Ausenco group. The Global Mobility Project involved streamlining the on-boarding process for each country in which Ausenco operates to ensure that tax implications, labour law regulations and visa requirements were considered and to also assess the cultural suitability of personnel considered for international postings. The second project required the analysis and review of existing HR systems to identify gaps, inconsistencies and currency of documents and processes and to coordinate the development and implementation of a new HR management system to suit the new global business. This also included training and coaching managers and personnel in navigating and using the system.
