I taught youth artists techniques in costume design, sewing, and overall costume production. In a span of one week, our students designed and produced a tribal collar to be worn by a cast member of the performance of The Lion King. Students skill levels varied from beginner to intermediate. All students completed a brief character analysis, mood board, color rendering, and finished costume piece.
