  Quality Assurance Site Engineer at John Fillmore Company: Worked on the NAaN project working under Balfour Beatty, UGL for Transpower installing ducts underground from the Pakuranga to Penrose substation. I was the QA on five different sites over the summer. I learnt a huge amount from this job; the importance of health and safety, site rules and regulations, importance of correct measurements, following a plan, and abiding to the Engineer’s methodologies for a range of activities and most importantly, working as a team. I worked both day and night shift and up to 70 hour weeks.
