Anne O’shea interned at Squash Canada, the national body for squash in Canada, during October, November and early December 2014. In particular, she was a contributing factor to the tremendous success of the SHOP.CA Women’s World Team Squash Championships 2014, December 1-6th, 2014 at WhiteOaks, Niagara-on -the–Lake, Ontario. The event included 80 athletes from 20 different countries competing over a six-day period for the coveted World title. Annie’s terrific organizational skills, dedication to detail combined with her calm and collected manner made her a huge asset on the organizing committee throughout this world wind event. She did a great job assisting in the opening and closing ceremonies, working with the Master of Ceremonies plus produced the Daily Draw supplement to the Tournament Program. Annie clearly has respect for authority, compassion for athletes, a creative eye for promotion, an excellent understanding of protocol and a genuine passion for sport.
