Level 2 Face to Face Fundraiser
-
Jun 2021 - Sep 2021
Working for the RNLI taught me how to play a vital role in a community, which I feel is essential in a workplace. I felt part of a larger community in this role, where qualities such as loyalty, passion and respect were key. It also helped me develop skills when working with potentially difficult members of the public, learning how to diffuse potentially problematic situations. My responsibilities in this role included: • Engaging with members of the public and encouraging them to donate. • Management and transportation of stock to different team members along the Yorkshire coast. • As a level two fundraiser, I was responsible for coaching new team members up to be outstanding fundraisers. This allowed me to develop strong leadership skills as well as effective communication skills. Show less
