Data collection for the SPACE study, funded by NASA, through the Department of Kinesiology. This includes physiological testing, such as VO2max tests using a metabolic cart and muscular strength tests using a Biodex. Inputing and interpreting heart rate monitor data for each participant is also a part of data collection. As another part of the internship, I am a teaching assistant (TA) for the Exercise Physiology Lab. As a TA, I supported graduate students' teaching of physiological testing, such as VO2max testing, EKG setup, BodPod operation, and metabolic cart operation to 30+ undergraduate students.
