Annie is one of those rare professionals you have the privilege to work alongside who truly lifts an organizations protentional and direction. I supervised Annie at the University of Utah while we both led a campus wide mandatory advising program for all first and second year students. Annie has a great ability to connect with students and make them feel welcomed on campus. My office door was across from Annie's and I often heard such supportive and helpful conversations with students and staff. This can be seen in her portfolio as she won one of our highest honors for advising at the university, the Advisor of The Month Award, in only 3 and half months of employment. Annie's leadership of the program provided strategy, creativity, and a strong emphasis in advisor support. She is always thinking about how she can make systems and processes better for those who use them. I would highly recommend Annie in truly any role and have seen her limitless potential here the U.

Annie has been an incredible addition to the Academic Advising Center and in particular, as a colleague in Advisory Board and on my side of our office. Our programs (Major Exploration and Milestone Advising) naturally work together as our office is responsible for the milestone advising undeclared/exploring students. Annie and I have collaborated to create training and in-service materials for staff and develop learning outcomes for student advising appointments, among many other things. Annie is genuine, kind, and extremely intelligent. She easily makes an accurate read on situations and develops a strategic, thoughtful response. She is particularly balanced and fair in her assessments as she strives to foster justice in higher education. Her skills are so transferrable, and I know she would make a positive impact wherever she devotes her attention.
