I conducted Ergonomics Assessments (office & industrial) and made recommendations to improve the quality, efficiency, and safety of jobs and to ensure tasks would meet Ergonomics standards. I collaborated with engineering, production, medical and human resources departments to complete Engineering Design Reviews to ensure that new designs would at least fit 75% of employees and ideally adjust to fit 95-100%. I completed Energy Expenditure (metabolic) Assessments to supplement Heat Stress Prevention Programs. I also worked with clients to develop and maintain Heat Stress Prevention Programs. I have completed Physical Demands Descriptions (Physical Demands Analyses) for cyclic and non-cyclic jobs for a large variety of workplaces and industries. I have worked with my client's human resources, production and medical departments to complete Demands-Abilities Evaluations to match employees to jobs that fit within individual medical restrictions. Some of these evaluations have required me to meet with representatives from the Ontario Workplace Safety and Insurance Board to successfully search for solutions.
