As a Research Coordinator for Emirates Nature-WWF, I have been mainly responsible for conducting wetlands monitoring at Wadi Wurayah National Park which is one of the Ramsar sites UAE. Simultaneously working on different Research and Learning Programmes programmes for multinational organizations, with the aim of raise awareness on Climate Change and Water Conservation. Some specific functions of my role comprehend: - Management of the laboratory on-site and responsible for the analysis of the Water samples, as well for the appropriate management of the data collected. - Facilitate outdoor/indoor research training for the participants of the Research and Learning Programmes. - Work in liaison with multidisciplinary teams for the development of education materials for external use. - Assist the communications and education department on the provision of relevant Terrestrial Conservation materials. - Conduct systematic field research in Wadi Wurayah National Park and other relevant freshwater ecosystems of the Hajar Mountains with the purpose of gathering physic-chemical information of the sites and the species that inhabit them. - Conduct analysis of the data collected and the production of reports and presentations to share the relevant findings. - Provision of graphic content for the for the Communications department of Emirates Nature-WWF
