Competing in the largest synthetic biology competition for students, the international GeneticallyEngineered Machine (iGEM) competition, my team of nine students founded a novel 3D bio printerwith inducible biofilms. I managed to raise funds for the entire project, organised with my teammembers social events, and developed the team website. For our efforts we became the Grand Prizewinners at the Giant Jamboree (284 teams) in Boston where I presented in the final.
