Managed team of 150 with P&L responsibility for over $7,000,000. • Successfully met challenge of converting traditional technical training unit to industry-leading learning organization which earned number one status in American Society of Training & Development’s prestigious BEST award in 2003. • Strengthened key frontline leadership of only non-unionized flight attendant workforce in the industry by creating and leading, In-Flight Service Renewal, a comprehensive cultural transformation process that re-defined roles, structure, and work processes in 15 base locations. • Revitalized flight attendant job confidence in aftermath of 9/11/01, by leading airline industry in re-design of crewmember security training, including personal defense training. • Stopped largest union organizing effort in history of Railway Labor Act, as Association of Flight Attendants sought to organize airline’s 20,000 flight attendants. • Launched Song, strongly branded low-fare airline within an airline, developing innovative customer contact training for new entity’s frontline employees, featured by The Learning Channel. • Achieved challenging new on-board product launch, in 45 days, by creating and implementing a ground breaking e-learning training program for 14,000 flight attendants. • Proposed, designed, and executed performance management system for 14,000 flight attendants and their leaders, using innovative and cost effective 360 degree approach.
