  I was responsible for managing the activity center and I was a social liaison officer between the elderly, management and staff. I also worked with tour agencies and other institutions that deliver services to our elderly. I organized social activities, outings, concerts and dinners. I was in charge of long-term projects such as small fairs and major functions to raise funds. I organized the week program for the activity center, like aerobics classes, choir, church services, game days, day trips, and running a small farmers market every week. I was the editor of the quarterly newsletter. I was also the social worker who dealt with the elderly, their families and their circumstances. Show less
