Streetfunk is the South Coast's largest and longest running Street Dance school, providing classes for all ages, ranging from 4 yrs old to adults, across Sussex. Streetfunk was founded by JP Omari who is widely known in the UK Hip Hop dance scene, as well as for his dedicated work in the community dance sector over the years. Although Hip Hop dance is at the forefront of Streetfunk’s activities, what is most important to us are the qualities that make one not only a good dancer but also a decent, respectable and confident person through hard work, discipline and respect. In class, children learn the importance of these qualities alongside the foundations of Street Dance styles. Streetfunk is more than a dance school… It’s a family! Albeit a large family teaching over 700 students each week. Come and join us and see what a difference we can bring to your child’s life! We also have professional competing crews available to hire for performances, corporate events etc. Our world class teaching team are available for workshops, parties, team building, hen/stag do's, one-to-one performances and more. I owned an artist management and event organising company in Brighton. We had a huge database of quality artists, D.J's and live acts who we sent to perform around the world. We were also club promoters running several club nights each week around the city with world class D.J's and headline acts. We also acted as a flyer-distributing company, sending teams out across the City distributing flyers for Brighton's exciting nightlife events.
