Anne was instrumental in helping our office to dramatically improve the quality of our marketing materials during her time at KPFF. I had the pleasure of working with Anne as our office’s Principal-in-Charge of our marketing group for about 2-1/2 years. She skillfully served a duel role as Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator during that time. I was particularly impressed with Anne’s graphic design capabilities which were put to use in greatly enhancing all of our various marketing materials. She has a fantastic ability to take something as uninspiring as an engineering drawing and turn into an attention grabbing graphic. I was also impressed with her ability to deal with the incredibly frantic nature of marketing in the AE industry with a smile. Anne will certainly be missed at KPFF. She will be an asset to any team and certainly has my personal recommendation.

From my time working with Anne, there are two specific characteristics that makes her stand out in my book. First of all, natural talent. Anne has a great eye for engaging design, exceptional organization skills, and the analytical mind to ensure a project gets done right! Every time we had a project on the boards Anne would bring at least three different options to the table for discussion and evaluation. This created the platform for great discussions that then allowed us to develop a clear course of action that we were confident in. But most importantly, she could then execute those strategies like a champ, often going above and beyond to get the results we wanted. Secondly, character. Anne is so much fun to work with! Her positive attitude, team-first mentality and amazing work ethic is the foundation of what leadership is all about. Talent and character are the two most important things I look for in team members and I would never hesitate in putting Anne in charge of any marketing project for my businesses!

My manuscript, ROSIE GROWS, is a STEAM-themed intergenerational story that illuminates finding balance between mindfulness and technology, while inspiring children to enjoy nature and grow. Additional back matter discusses the key components to growing food, and the life-long benefits of gardening for people of all ages. ROSIE GROWS underlying themes include: STEAM, SEL, intergenerational relationships, personal growth, growth mindset, mindfulness, perspective shift, perseverance, nature, gardening, plants, screen time, technology, slowing down, hands-on-experience, girl power, competition, and elder’s wisdom. I'm an active member of SCBWI, a Children’s Book Academy Golden Ticket award recipient and graduate, and a volunteer at The Children’s Book Bank. Find me endlessly wandering the picture book section at my local Powell's Books and library. Unagented and seeking representation. THE GARDEN ROSIES PROJECT As the curator of The Garden Rosies Project, an online resource with over 2000 followers worldwide, I provide families with a community space to learn tips and tricks for involving kids in gardening. Encouraging a love for plants, pollinators, and biodiversity in an authentic and meaningful way directly connects to the themes and narrative arc in ROSIE GROWS.
