Gerwin Marskamp
Anne and I worked for 10 years together within Achmea. In the early years the fraud control level was very low. Anne started a strong recovery. He was the main pioneer and driving force for the development of a fraud registration system called Facts! which is nowadays market leader in The Netherlands. In 2003 Anne developed an internal bench mark to measure the control level of fraud, also an unique and visionary tool. The foundation of this bench mark was used later on by the dutch Federation of Insurers to execute a national inquiry. In these years due to Anne’s influence the revenue on fraud detection showed a more than tenfold increase in annual profit. Although his never ending drive to improve the organization, he always looks after his collegues – gave them trust and inspiration – and was a mostly cooperative man to work with. The best manager I have ever met.

Despite his many years of fraud prevention experience, his understanding and coverage of the Governance, Fraud & Integrity market place, Anne is still unbelievably passionate about the work that he does.
