The mission of the Women's Impact Network is to maximize women's leadership in philanthropy and strengthen the New Hanover Community through the power of collective giving. We invite local nonprofits to apply through an annual competitive grants process. Our giving group then decides which programs best address area needs and awards high-impact grants. In 2012 we awarded our first grant for $20,000 to the Cape Fear Guardian ad Litem Association, and in 2013 DREAMS of Wilmington, Inc. received a grant of $25,000. Show less
