  I worked hand-in-hand with senior designers to create detailed designs for a two Hilton Hotel projects in Dubai. My responsibilities included communicating with material suppliers and creating detailed material specification documents as well as weekly dispatch files to be approved by the client. Additionally, I created several material boards and presentation material following the company’s visual guidelines. The constant back and forth between clients, suppliers and other designers showed me the importance of scheduling; allowing me to keep track of my latest submissions and proposals. Show less

  Pallavi Dean is a boutique design firm focusing on high-end projects from residential to educational facilities. My role was to complete furniture and material schedules, meet with suppliers and clients, as well as create a variety of material palettes. The internship allowed me to understand the steps to create a successful design proposal, as well as expand my knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Sketchup. • Internship at EDGE Architects

  My Role was to assist interior designers and 3D visualizers to design the interior of the guest rooms of a new Jumeirah Hotel located on a beach promenade in Dubai. This internship improved my understanding of the design process for a large-scale design project, and allowed me to understand the collaboration between architects, designers and 3D visualisers during different stages of the project. I was in charge of proposing materials, finishes as well as furniture for each of the difference schemes and guest rooms. Show less
